Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney Parks
As you've probably heard, Disneyland and Walt Disney World are creating a 14-acre Star Wars Land, recently named "Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge". The 2017 D23 Expo announced the details about it!
Galaxy's Edge is supposed to be FULLY IMMERSIVE, which means guests could have a droid or a Star Wars alien walk right passed them at any time!
One of the MAJOR new details about Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is that it will be getting two ride attractions.
One ride will enable a park guest to pilot the Millennium Falcon, where he/she has to earn credits. The less credits a guest has, he/she will be hunted by a bounty hunter.
The second ride attraction will have a guest in a Star Destroyer in between a battle of the First Order and the Resistance.
There will be a cantina that features many different Star Wars foods that park guests can actually order and try! (Imagine actually drinking blue milk!)
Galaxy's Edge will also have many character meet-n-greets, including BB-8, Chewbacca, First Order Officers, and more!
But that's not all!
If guests will be visiting Walt Disney World, they can also stay at a Star Wars themed resort! Just like Galaxy's Edge, aliens and droids can pop up around the resort. In all of the rooms, the windows look out into space!
