BREAKING NEWS: Star Wars The Last Jedi's Director Rian Johnson to Create New Star Wars Trilogy

On November 9th, 2017, StarWars.com had released something shocking to the world. It has been officially announced that the director of the upcoming film Star Wars: The Last Jedi will create a whole new Star Wars trilogy! That's right. Rian Johnson will be creating a new Star Wars trilogy that will be separate from the "Skywalker Saga" (Episodes 1/The Phantom Menace through Episode 9 -- the movie after Star Wars: The Last Jedi - just to clarify things.) Rian will not only be directing the trilogy, but he will also be writing it! Ram Bergman will produce the trilogy. Rian will "introduce new characters from a corner of the galaxy that Star Wars lore has never before explored", as stated in the StarWars.com news article (the link is located below).
