Star Wars Bantha Book Reviews: Phasma

Phasma by Delilah S. Dawson is a Star Wars chapter book about a rebel spy named Vi Moradi who gets captured by Cardinal--a red-armored Stormtrooper--who serves The First Order. While she is captured, Cardinal forces Vi to tell the tale of the infamous Captain Phasma before she joined The First Order. This book is set in the time frame between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.  Let's take a look at some of the book's features:

EXPLANATIONS

Many details and explanations are given about the character Captain Phasma in this book, such as her Phasma's home planet, how she got involved with The First Order in the first place, and how she became such a good fighter!

CHARACTERS OLD AND NEW

Phasma resurrects characters that we know, like (of course) Captain Phasma, Armitage Hux (General Hux from The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi), and mentions Kylo Ren, Leia Organa, and Supreme Leader Snoke. This book also introduces new characters, too, such as Armitage's father, faithful Brendol Hux, Vi Moradi (as mentioned in the beginning of this article), and Siv, a loyal friend of Phasma, who lived on her home planet.
